Toddo's hybrid cheapo pike

Here's my forcepike. I severed the handle portion of a Rubies' pike. I then stripped the basket off a ski pole, sprayed some foam insulation into the handle and inserted the ski pole. I added some o-rings, then sanded, primed, and chromed the entire thing. Afterword, I painted the button and taped the grips with special electrical tape. Here is the result:

The tape could use some cleaning up, but other than that, creative use of parts...
