Sure,

The belt is made out of the same material as the under robe and is about 4 inches wide.

The lining is velvet

Are you thinking of a wider size belt for the rope section?

the belt is pretty wide, it just blends in with my inner robes, Unless you meant adding in more rope?

What do you think of the lining? My seamstress followed the CRL. It does look a bit more shiny than what it is as the flash was on when these photos were taken

Wider Rope is what I ment. Rope fabric has a different texture than Velvet so you would have a different light from it.

The rope definitely needs to be more sections... general guideline is 3-5 sections of rope. A single piece just looks sloppy in the end.

As for the lining, seeing the fabric from a different angle has helped. The first photos just looked like it was a shiny material (which is not permited as per CRL standards).

From the CRL "Should Have but not required" portion:
• A burgundy rope-belt that wraps around the sash a minimum of two times and ties out of view.
I think the number of wraps depends upon the rope you're using and the size of the wearer. Putting 3-5 wraps around someone 5'1" is going to look very different than someone 6'4".

Oh that is good news. I had the flash on so it added a lot of shine to it.

I am taking the belt back to the seamstress tomorrow so she can add more rope

So over the weekend I did a test troop at the local kids hospital. Boy oh Boy I almost fainted from dehydration. I need to add some little foam squares to the underside of my helmet so that some sort of airflow can pass through. Once that helmet was on, it formed a very good seal on the fabric. I think my plans for a 10km walk in this my have been hampered :)

Apart from that it was awesome to troop in

Yes. I was almost in the same position this weekend for my first troop in my Royal Guard. Luckily, while I was installing my fans and gathering everything right before the troop, I quickly put some foam in the top of the helmet to allow for a larger gap between the bottom of the helmet and my outer robes. Worked great :)

So since my last post I have completed a Number of troops including two of Australia's biggest pop culture events, a 10km walk and loads of little troops.

Then I get the awesome news that I have just been approved,

Say hello to TR - 8139 Ready to protect the boss man :P

This has been a long build, much longer than I thought. But this is only due to the fact that my boots and force pike have been delayed more than 10 times now, taking my order close to 7-8 months from first contact and payment of the boots/forcepike.
I brought them through Crow62 and while he has good items, I dont think I will be buying from him again and I give everyone a big warning when they think about buying from him. His communication is just crap.

Anyway YAY approved :tr: :trsuit:

Next costume - Senate Guard :P
Might as well have someone on the blue team and the red team :P
