Attaching Armour

As seen in the video game "The Force Unleashed". Now an approved costume!

Attaching Armour

Post by TR2203 »

I have just taken delivery of my Shadow Guard armour (which I’m extremely pleased with) and am seeking help/advice as the best way to attach it to the body suit. The parts would be the chest plate, ab plate, back plate and shoulder bells. I’m thinking either Velcro or poppers, what is the consensus of opinion?

Also with regards to the shins I need to attach straps to them and again I’m thinking of using Velcro or those plastic belt strap webbing side release buckles (seen here - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005 ... B004RGWFJW )

As said your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello Ian, congrats for your armor, can I ask you where you bought it ? I saw you were on the same interest list than me, but the guy doesn't seem to have made any progress on his run since mounths :(

Besides, any news about our saberpikes ?

For your question, being a stormtrooper and a clonetrooper, I would not attach any parts to the bodysuit, I'd be sandwiched with elastic straps and snaps between torso and back parts, and shoulders parts attached to shoulders straps and around the biceps...

Cheers Naph.

Pikes are being powder-coated so should have an update in the next couple of weeks.

(Have sent an e-mail regarding the armour).
