Imperial Praetorian Guard

Hey Everyone.

I've order the imperial praetorian guard armor from imperialsurplus, currently waiting on delivery. Just placed the order from crowprops for the gloves, boots and undersuit. Just need to find the strapping and fabric for the skirt / cape.

Does anyone have any recommendations, I'm based in the UK. My boyfriend of pretty handy at sewing and has offered to help sew the cape / skirt. Need to find the correct colour and also suppliers and straps ect

Hello and welcome!

Strapping is pretty easy since most of it will be hidden beneath the armour. You can use your usual black webbing.

The tough part will be the skirt and cape.... the most accurate fabric is ultrasuede which can be expensive and hard to find outside of the US (I had to order mine from a shop in the US and I'm in Canada) but I've heard good things about red ponte de roma. Just make sure you have a good colour match with your final armour colour!
