Installed the visor in my helmet and after a few failed attempts I ended going with 2 seperate pieces and gluing them in seperatly.

I also bought a Tactial Helmet set of inserts and they fit perfectly for the helmet, and my head!!

Other than fans which I purchased and am deciding weather to install them I think the helmet is pretty much done!!

OK, after many trials and tribulations I think I finally have my LED's figured out. Took some modding and re-printing but looks pretty good!!!

If you insist putting the battery pack into the bade section, I would recommend using a slim LiPo Accu. I think it is far easier to put a power bank in the rear section of the staff. However, that was my solution. On my halberd I can pull out the power bank if I screw off the rear knob.

How's the build going?

I actually managed to figure out a way to add lighting to mine and integrate the battery pack and switch into the hilt. I should really update my build thread with the how-to. Maybe this week.

Looks great Paolo!!!

It took some time but I finally managed to figure this thing out. I laid everything out on the table to better keep track of my progress.

I was able to get the blade just how I wanted it and it looks beautiful.
Image

I left the center connector un-glued so I could separate it into 2 pieces for ease of transport and inserted some quick disconnects to separate the power.

I 3d printed a lightsaber chassis and installed it in the hilt with a latching switch on the bottom to keep it hidden. The battery is easily changed for all-day trooping.

All in all, I think it came out beautifully. Can't wait to see peoples reactions to this when I can start trooping!!!
