Alternative to painting your pike

Post by MagnaPrime »

Hey guys,

As some of you know I've had a deuce of a time trying to get my forcepike to be painted and stay painted, after a troop or two I've been having to sand it down and repaint because the stuff I'm using smudges. Well I've got an alternative option for anyone with similar problems.

Rub n Buff. Basically it's like silver gold leafing. Not quite the intended purpose but at the moment it seems to be working nicely. A friend of mine has a jango that is painted this way and it doesn't seem to have many problems. Plus there is still a metallic sheen that some forcepikes I've seen are lacking.

So if you're looking for an alternative to trying to paint the sucker I'm going to recommend this stuff as so far so good, just be willing to spend a lot of time buffing your pike after you rub the stuff on. Oh and one tube will be plenty this stuff spreads nicely.
