I am writing to you as a father. I myself am an enthusiastic Star Wars fan and can call a Wookiee my own. And I'm having a lot of fun with it. My son accompanied me on my last troop and has now finally contracted Star Wars fever.
To my regret, he has been seduced by the dark side. What's more, he wants to go to the guard...
Well, while I blame his mother for his decision, I still want to help him create the perfect costume.
We've been scouring the web for a few days now, collecting information. Here in Germany it seems to be a bit more difficult than elsewhere.
My son chose the AOTC version.
If I understand correctly, the difference is in the arm slits, right?
What interests me more now is the color. On the 501 side, it's not so clear. I got an offer for a helmet but there are 2 shades of red.
Rogue one guard (brighter red)
ROTJ guard (dark red)
I would hate to order the wrong color now.
The matter with the substance is not entirely clear either. Personally, I think the lighter version is nicer, but it should fit.
