A few questions

I made some progress with my costume and would like to ask a few questions.

1. Is this kind of difference between robe and helmet tones acceptable?

2. Is this kind of stitch (two stitches "around" the main stitch - afaik it's known as topstitching) acceptable? Seamstress said, that it would improve the quality of the robe and make it lay batter, but I am afraid, that it can be too visible and ruin the uniformity of the robe.

3. Do You have any general remarks? (excluding ofc the length - it's not hemmed)

This may be a little late but my 2 cents....

1. Helmet color looks fine I think. Another problem you will run into is indoor lighting vs outdoor can change the colors drastically. I have seen guards with the color way off.

2. for the bottom hem I think you could get away with this but not for going up the robe or the seems at shoulders. Looking at a pic of mine when I hold it up I may have done this at the bottom. But if its just flowing then you cant see it.

3. As for length it needs to be no more then 1" off the ground with you in it I would highly recommend that you be in the robe when its hemmed wearing the boots you plan on wearing.

It seems to me that the stripe in the middle of the sash is missing. It looks like there are just seams.
(btw: the colors of the robes looks really good.)

Thx for feedback. Actually, the stripe is there - just didnt get it right on the Photo

BTW. Funny how colors can change im different light..

Edit. Just noticed, that kn the Photo i had the sash worn on the other side so actually it was just stiches
