Thoughts on having a pouch on left side hidden by robes?

I keep wondering if it would be permissible to have a pouch similar to the gun belt pouches of Kir Kanos, but on the ROTJ guard. Left side only so it’s not visible and slim so that it doesn’t protrude any from under the robes. That way you could easily carry something on you if needed. Or would that just be at the GML’s discretion?

I am wearing a small fanny pack under the outer robe (for my glasses, money, phone etc.). I turn it to the side, so no one ever noticed it.

The way I see it is if it's invisible then by all means, but not until you're approved and don't wear optional extras for approval shots. I can carry my phone up my sleeve in an arm band. It's never visible.
