Kir Kanos Build
Salutations.
This is my Kir Kanos build thread, Any questions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
I will be doing the CE 1 Silver belt and Vambrace Kir Kanos build.
Some of the parts are on route, (like the paint). I will post new photos when things are complete.
The bodysuit is a one piece motorcycle undersuit. When it gets here I will be adding a 2.5" red stripe to the arms and legs. On the legs it will go all the way to the ankles.

The gloves, will be painted with red leather paint, and I will be adding the accent pieces to the back of the gloves.

The gun belt will be painted silver, and I will be making the buckle. Are these pouches too big? Two are 5"x 4.5". The other is 5.5" x 3".
https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 903089835/
I modified the holster that came with the belt to be able to hold a DH-17. It will be painted Silver, and the leg strap
will be modified and painted black.

Re: Kir Kanos Build
Before digging too much on the costume as it is still in the starting stage. What picture reference are you using form the comics. Once I have this information I can help assist more. As of right now the Holster seems to be lacking in substance and should cover more. If you are doing the Silver version the pouch styles will not work with this set up.

I will start working on fixing the holster. And find the proper size pouches.
Thank you for helping me get started.

Re: Kir Kanos Build
Hello Again.
I do apologize for the delay. I have been helping my parents out, which is taking up a lot of my time as of late. And it will continue to be that way for a while. So from here on out, it going to be a very slow build. But on the bright side; I do get to spend some more time with my family.
But here is what I have done:
I finished the gloves and added accent pieces to them. https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 903089835/
Then I got the striping done on the bodysuit. Sorry about the photo, The sunlight makes the red look orange.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 903089835/
Next, I made a new holster for the blaster, and got some smaller pouches, and painted them silver along with the belt. As of right now, I am still working on the buckle. https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 903089835/
Going back though some photos, I noticed that there are two styles of buckle for the silver build. Here is the first type: https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 767679562/
The second one is in the bottom set, second from the left. https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 767679562/
Is there one that is preferred over the other? Or does it really matter which one you chose?
I just finished the cape as well. https://www.flickr.com/photos/140893402 ... 903089835/ Again, the sunlight makes it seem orange.
I also have got the vambraces started, but need to order some more materials to finish them.

Hello Again. Here are some pictures as what I have been working on as of late.
This is my gloves, pouches, and belt with buckle

Here is the undersuit.

Here are the boots.
This is inside of the cloak
And this is the outside
Here is the start of the peck and ab armor
I am also having to remake the holster and am going to getting the supplies for it this weekend. And I have some more work on the blaster, as well as getting vambraces started.
