Updates:
Finsihed updates on the Chest: revised rectangular greeblie. revised recessed latch greeblie. Details on flanks done.

Arm segment details:
Right arm

Left arm

Testing the textured velvet undershirt. I tried resin coating some wool and cotton by lightly brushing on some epoxy resin but it was a disaster.

Also experimented with a Vinyl-covered foam ab section. While it's a more screen accurate material, there are several cons: You will have to paint your armor to match. Not much added mobility compared to my flexible fiberglass. In fact, hinders mobility between chest and abs compared to the fiberglass. Much more expensive to make. And much less durable than the fiberglass abs.
3rd version of the vinyl ab section:

Pics of me in full armor (with the 2nd version of the vinyl abs. 3rd version is shinier and matches the sheen of the armor better)
