For modifying the Don Post helmet, adding the extras for a Crimson Empire helmet, as well as painting, padding, speakers, fans, etc.

Identifiy my helmet

Post by muppet »

Hi,
When i originally picked up my RG helmet, i was told that it was an Altmanns piece (purshased from a guy in the same state where Altmanns lived). There looks to be part of a label that has been removed on the inside but has left only the sticky part behind. Now i looked thru the starwars helmet site, and im still not sure exactly what it is. One suggestion was that it was an early Altmanns helmet.
Any help would be appreciated

Any idea what kind of material might have been used to make it? Could it be a molded plastic or maybe fiberglass or resin?
