Hi folks,
I've been working at the Imperial Boots ensemble hoping to get cleared, but have run into a couple of issues getting cleared - my GML suggested posting up here for more input!
I've had the inner robe taken up to clear my feet (the original product was about a foot too long), and the new seam neatened to about an inch from the bottom of the robe. Boots, gauntlets, obi & stripe, helmet and pike don't seem to have been at issue so far. I'm told the outer robe needs to come up to about an inch of air from the floor (that was also very, very long when I got it. Like Superman at the right angle... )
Any other input would be most welcome! Eager to get out in it!

As per the CRL, the hem of the inner robe should be no more than 3" off the ground at all points around the inner robe when worn.
Also as per the CRL, the hem of the outer cloak needs to be off the ground no more than 1" at all points when worn. It cannot be pooling or dragging on the ground as it is in your pictures as this is a significant safety hazard.

Thanks!
Is there anything else that clearly needs work? I'm leaving the outer robe in tomorrow to be shortened again.
I think I've followed everything else.

For me personally, you should probably repaint your helmet to get a closer match to the colour of the fabric.... but that's just me

Sorry to highjack, but I'm having a translation issue with this. I need to have my IB kit shortened also, but I just want to be clear on my understanding. No more than off the ground, means it's the minimum, ie the inner could be between 3'' and 4'', and the outer between 1-2'', right?stripes wrote:As per the CRL, the hem of the inner robe should be no more than 3" off the ground at all points around the inner robe when worn.

No, it is the maximum measurements. The exact reverse of how you are thinking.ugcspawn wrote:Sorry to highjack, but I'm having a translation issue with this.
