Boots for size12 approval needed

Hi all I found the boots below. Just wondering if they are going to be pointed toe enough. The below is the grey variant as it shows the toe the best. Obviously minus the bow. Thanks for any advice. Imperial boots only go to 11's apparently...too small

Also for people looking over this, US size 12 mens or a 14 women's should fit him. I think I found some slouch boots on ebay, but the buckle would have to be removed.

I'm currently on vacation so they're sitting on my doorstep ready to be opened, but apparently after removing the extra stuff on them and cutting off a bit of the top off and rough stitching it back together, they are perfectly passable. I just hope that they fit... I'll find out tomorrow!

Got the chance to try on the boots I mentioned previously, the fit is good and they are quite comfortable. They are definitely not "pointed" but quite satisfactorily rounded. I think finding a pointed toe shoe with a larger foot size (around 12 US men's and above) is going to be difficult if not impossible. If you have been able to find one, this will be new information for the forums since my searching up until this point has lead me only to the boots I purchased. I know a lot of prospective ROTJ guards would love something that matches the CRL word-for-word for "big foots" like us.

The CRL was changed recently and the ROTJ-style has to have the red suede boots now, although ROTS and AOTC both have the option for the jack boots.

Nice option I have seen is to buy Mens pointy toe boots that fot your feet then recover them with red suede. If this pair doesnt work out this will be my final option.

Yes the CRL says red boots. Some folks have larger feet that can not be found in the red suede, so the Detachment has always let that be a leniency.

I wish my GML knew this! He told me he had to go by the CRL, and I would be denied if I went with the black jack boots like I did on my ROTS. Oh well, I have the boots now, but now the robes are too long. It's always something.........
