Helmet protection

Post by Force Crush »

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if there's a way to protect the inside of the helmet so it doesn't scratch the surface of the breastplate and backplate of my armor.
What kind of material and glue can I use?
Thanks!

You could use felt on the underside as that would be a soft surface so it doesn't affect the paint of the other parts.

e6000 is good cause you can move it to where you want before it sets.

So, this is basically what happened to the end of my helmet. The photo with two red circles is the front and the photo with one red circle is the back of the helmet.

Thats going to happen to the best of folks with trooping. Every so often I have to give my helmet a touch up.

What can I use to touch up my helmet once in a while?

you could use a light brush with paint to dab any minor scratches of the paint wear.
