All of the ideas within can be found in other threads here on the forums however, so shout outs to Sir Ken and silverBoyd for their threads which inspired mine.

Step One: Add Universal Fit Kitchen Handles.

Step Two: Assemble using appropriate length wood screw. Added a faucet washer to prevent leakage of glue that will be added in Step Three.

Step Three: Fill empty space in Kitchen handle with Elmer's Glue-All MAX. I filled it right up to the brim, as it's supposed to be "low foaming."

Step Four: Well.... "Low Foaming" is still a fair amount of foaming, but I caught it, and managed to clean most of it off before the glue had time to fully cure. Sorry, no picture as I was frantically trying to prevent catastrophic failure a mere hour into the project.
Step Five: After 24 hours of cure time, sanded the pommel and cue shaft to prep for a coat of primer down the line.

Step Six: Add Flex Funnel to the party.

Step Seven: Cut end of funnel to fit pool cue at the right level for the right look. Note: Do not glue the flex funnel in yet.

Step Eight: Trim the excess funnel. For me, 7 "rasps" felt right. Still not glued in yet!

And that was all I could get done until I went shopping for the rest of the materials.
I'll post an update as I move on to the next phase of the build: defining the hand grips.
EDIT: Added Material List at the top of the OP.
