Has anyone experience on the helmets from Kamino Custom?

Post by Skallinn »

I just checked out the helmets and armor on Kamino Custom FB-page and I was just wondering if anyone had dealings with him and how his product lined up with other helmets on the market?
I like the look of his products....

Both the wife and I have our buckets from Kamino and love em! In fact getting our Shadow Guard ones from him too. I honestly cannot see wearing another style bucket personally! :trsuit:

Cool, he gave me some great quotes on a kit helmet, cause I want to work on it myself. Did you guys send him the circumference of your head or are his helmets just once size fits all?

I love the look of his work so if I'm happy I might try out a Shadow Guard later on :)
The bucket will be my first piece in my uniform, but like the head guy in our Outpost told me: "Your helmet is the Alpha and the Omega of your costume!"

So if you give him thumbs up, I'll purchase his helmet :)

Thanks so much for the info :tr:

I have one from him, the raw helmet is really rough and needed a lot of work to make it a finished product. It also took 5 months to get even though he quoted 10-12 weeks.

There is at least one vendor in the Sell/Trade section of the forum that also sells kits.

I bought a helmet from one and it was good price and very nice shipping rate. It was also stepped so you could size it for your head, going up to 26" I believe. Which was perfect for me as the regular pre-made ones didn't get past my forehead. Didn't take much work to get it prepped for paint, and was a nice ABS plastic.
