WIP Shadow Guard
WIP Shadow Guard
Hi guys am wanting to build a shadow guard, am wanting to hear back from kamino customs about a helmet and armour.
have found coveralls on ebay can't get them locally what do you think of these ones http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/141954525590 ... EBIDX%3AIT
Have 2 options of boots first is http://www.horseland.com.au/dublin-univ ... 28560.html
or second is a boot and glove combo http://www.imperialboots.com/?product=classic-set
Have asked for a copy of the 3d files for a saber pike so hopefully that will be sorted and input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: WIP Shadow Guard
Im also starting a shadow guard. Those coveralls are the same ones my seamstress friend pointed out to me. Like you im curious as to if those are acceptable.
Regarding the boots. Im going to a country western store this weekend to get fitted. That way i can make certain im getting the right size when i order. Boots in general are miserable for me. I go through insoles like nobodys business trying to find something that is comfortable. (Nerve damage in my feet) long story.
Those boots look a lot like the ones ive been looking at also. Getting genuine equestrian style boots can easily set you back over $200 credits. Plus you might find something in the store that works well for you. Shopping online you cant try them on. Im trying to minimize the chances that ill have to return the boots i end up getting.
On the plus side though the set from imperialboots is a matching set so thats a definite bonus. Ive been thinking that in the worst case i might end up roughing up or dyeing whatever i get in order to get it close to the same color. Ive got a lot of stiff left over from a steampunk build i was involved in. (Read dye and leather)
Hope this helps some.

Re: WIP Shadow Guard
The Dickies is quiete a good overall. Also used by a lot of bikerscouts and pilots as far as i know.
You have to get all external pockets off it and then it should be OK.
The first boots are rubber boots. Stay away from them please.
I would suggest you use imperialboots instead.

Re: WIP Shadow Guard
With a Little work it will be fine.
Re: WIP Shadow Guard
I believe that the ab plate is too small as is from that kit, though everything should work.
Re: WIP Shadow Guard
how much wider do you think that ab plate should be? Any other adjustments?Jofus wrote:I believe that the ab plate is too small as is from that kit, though everything should work.

Re: WIP Shadow Guard
Alot of that has to do with your personal build. A broader body would be wider than one that is Slimer.CJ49er wrote:how much wider do you think that ab plate should be? Any other adjustments?Jofus wrote:I believe that the ab plate is too small as is from that kit, though everything should work.
