Hearing Assist

Post by Motoss »

Hey all,

I recently got the SHA system from a FISD vendor so I can hear in our bucket. Field testing was great but I had some trouble with microphone placement. I ended up installing them on the exterior left and right corners of the helmet. Unfortunately this means the microphones were visible and also as I found out, prone to breaking off under the pressure of the helmet lip.

Anyone else with a hearing system - where do you put your microphones?

I would say probably best in the front curvature for space reasons.
