Looks great. Also if you turn the helmet a bit that can help with the fit. The guard helmet is always a form fitting fit on the helmet. Also you may put some padding on the bottom of the helmet to ease the stress on your shoulders from the plastic on there.

Helmet and boots look great. I would prefer lipstick red and burgundy.

The "title of the fabric" All comes down to the makers choice. Cotton Velvet will be able to washed as Polyester fibers have to be dry clean.

Thanks you guys. Unfortunately Fabrics.com sold out of all of these fabrics, so Im back to looking. I ordered swatches from Distinctive fabrics, but I really don't like synthetic velvet so I'll check out Mood and Renaissance Fabrics to see if they have cotton velvets I like.

I received my TR bucket from Q as well (last week). Good luck with the build/paint. I'm waiting for my seamstress to get the outer robe fabric and send me a swatch before I can start worrying about the painting. I might get the bucket together properly and cut out the eye area and bondo/sand it to get it at least prepped for painting. I look forward to seeing yours get done.
Cheers

I got mine from Q's Prop Shop (Western Australia). Mine came with the visor, it was in a cardboard 'envelope' in the box. Sorry, I saw yours and thought it was from the same maker.

Joanns has a 50% off coupon online so I bought 10 yards of red velveteen for 1/2 price!! Good deal. :) Inside the fabric is almost the same as my boots and outside the fabric is a shade more blue. I'm happy with the purchase. :) Just need to buy my burgundy fabric and I can get started.
