GLOVE COLOR?
GLOVE COLOR?
I have seen a few photos of royal guards and have seen different color gloves. I have seen gloves that match the inner robe and some that match the outer robe and I am wondering because there is no specification on gloves color matching the inner or outer robes what do you guys think. I personally think the inner robe looks better. The only thing on color is that it is a dark red.

The colour of the glove and how the glove is worn is dependent on the version of guard that one is doing.
Gloves that match the colour of the inner robe are required for AoTC and RoTJ styles. Both are also worn underneath the robes.
There is some review taking place with the command team regarding the RoTJ gloves with the photos and information/photos from the Original Trilogy Costumes book, but nothing has been set out as a firm update as yet.
RoTS style gloves are red leather that are worn overtop of the inner robes.
All of the above are listed specifically under each costume type for their respective CRL.
