I will work on all changes immediately. I have a question with strips that connect the backplate and chestplate. Why are required if the CRL nowhere (which is supposed to be the guide that we use to build our suits) is specified that we have them? As for painting, it is all "Glossy". No pieces of matte color. Was painted with the same paint at the same time. Finally, Might you tell me what are the changes I should make my shoulders? because I look the other photographs of other guards shade and look very similar to mine.stripes wrote:Here is what I am seeing as I go through the photos:
1. The forearms are too big, these should be fitted much tighter to the forearm.
2. The kama is too long, the length should not be mid calf, it should be at the knee at most. The kama should also be squared all the way around so that the length on the back and sides is the same.
3. The flight suit is too big as it is bunched up all over the place - This appears to be a flightsuit that is at least 2 sizes too big
4. There is a strange bunching of fabric on the back under the back plate and above the belt - This is not acceptable and needs to be removed
5. The shoulders are the wrong shape and too big. Please consult the other build threads here on the forums for visual references and examples of the correct shape.
6. The shin plates are too long. The shins should be flush with your leg and not angled as you are standing. The base is resting on the top of your foot, which will cause issues when you wear it for walking, among other things.
7. The strapping for the shins has visible buckles - this is not approvable. There can be no visible buckles for the straps to conform with the visual references for the Shadow Guard costume.
8. The hard armour shoulder straps connecting the chest to the back are missing.
9. The paint application appears to be spotty in places. This costume should have a clean paint job with no weathering applied. The paint job must be either glossy or matte finish for all components and not a combination of them.
It is a good start, but there is still much work that needs to be done before I would sanction the costume for approval.
Thanks for the explanation Stripes. I use elastic with snaps to grab the armor of the chest with the chest plate. These days, I received the help of my friend Neyo Ti / TR / TK 6365, who kindly gave me some digital changes that I would put on my armor. Your might confirm that they are correct to work on them? Thank you!stripes wrote:For the shape of the shoulders, please refer to this thread:

Your shoulders are square and oversized, not rounded or the correct size.
As for the shoulder straps, they are snooth shoulders that would be the equivalent of the TK/TX/TD shoulder straps. You wouldn't expect to see their armour without shoulder straps, and regardless of them being visible or not, they are a part of the costume.
As for the paint, it is not appearing to be an even paint job as all parts of the costume should be the exact same finish. The pictures that you have posted appear to show that the finish is not the same on all of the components. For example, the picture of the back, the helmet appears to have an extremely glossy spot right below the ridge, while further down the back of the helmet, the finish is not as highly polished and almost cloudy in appearance. The finish should be the same across the entire hard armour and not appear spotty.
You have gotten the majority of the fixes pointed out there. The shoulders should be smaller as per the link to Viratek's thread... you have the wrong shape overall, along with the ridge needing to be present. You've made a good start. Keep at it and we'll get you all sorted out and approved.GonzaSkywalker wrote:Thanks for the explanation Stripes. I use elastic with snaps to grab the armor of the chest with the chest plate. New Shadow Guard forearm pattern test. What do you think?stripes wrote:Here is what I am seeing as I go through the photos:

Yes, I have planned to enlarge for the hand through the opening of the wrist, what worries me is that the shape be correct before you start cutting and thermoforming. If you give me the green light, I start tomorrow with that.stripes wrote:You've got the right shape... you'll just want to make sure that you can get your hand and glove through the opening at the wrist as it is looking fairly tight.
