Belt & Holster

Post by Danielandre77 »

Does anyone know what the belt and holster should look like?
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Ok that one looks nice. I read that you could use both red and black. What about the belt, should the buckel look any special?

Depends on what route your going is this going to be for the sash belt or Crimson Empire. If the latter then the belt should match that. With saying that though if your wearing the robes vs the body suit there is no buckle.

Just bored and looking through older posts. Not sure if anyone will read this. I, too, have been looking to upgrade to Level 2/3 now that I'm officially a 501st member with my approved costume. So, do I definitely need a red holster (I'm ROTJ TR), or will a black one make do? Do I need a new belt instead of sash? And as far as the actual DH-17 blaster goes... I thought Imperial DH-17 blasters were all black with no silver (that's what distinguished them from Rebel DH-17's)?

Just to make it abundantly clear... there are no additional levels within this detachment. You either get it right, or you don't. There are additional details you can add if you desire, but there are no additional perks that come with that.

I know that... I was referring to the CRL where the additional add-ons are referred to as "for level two certification and for level three certification" (listed in blue and red).

Yea, I believe the boots, that are the only items listed as 'level 2', are because of the allowance for black boots due to red being hard to find for some.

Ok... so the whole "level 2" and "level 3" thing threw everyone off from my original question... does the holster have to be black or red? And does the DH-17 blaster have to be all black like all the other Imperial blasters, or should it have the silver barrel? Thanks!

Technically It could be either color. But if your doing for example Kir Kanos it would need to be red to match references.
