The arms are made of both hard and flexible sections. The flexible sections are at the elbows and wrist.

I have found an inter locking hard plastic 3D printing design that looks interesting at do3D.com. Will be interesting hoe the CRL come out.

Jai posted a video on the FB page of arm segments he 3D printed using a flexible filament... looks like they came out great!! Would definitely improve mobility. I also cut away more inside the elbow segments and that helped out a ton!

I'm curious about the black rivets we see hidden underneath the arm segments.... are those likely part of the arm rigging they used? Will that be part of the CRL?

From a stabilty issue i would rivet the inside of each at the pivot pivot. This will then allow them to sivel and flex.
