Saber Pike Drawings by Draft808

Post by Draft808 »

For creative folks who want to try turning their own on a lathe or creating a 3D Print file, I got around to making up some reference drawings of my second translation of the schematic. I scaled the size to work when slid over 1"ID electrical PVC Conduit pipe that can be found at most major hardware stores.

If they're useful to anyone, enjoy. :trsuit:

I referenced the 533x691 resolution image from here. If anyone has a higher resolution or sharper image than that, pass it along or point me to it and I'll be happy to update these. I'm going to take a third pass at translating to a clearer schematic with an eye toward the lines not necessarily being so ... linear you might say, however this will be referencing that same image so a vauge shadows set of pixels will still have a bit of variation where the hardline can fall.

Awesome - these are really helpful, one request... A higher resolution version of image 1 would be great if you could please - I can't make out the dimensions even when zooming in!

Ah, sorry about that. Give the following links a try. This is the largest resolution I have printed them in without being scaled down by hosting sites.

and guessing you cut them to suit the size of the trooper ?

Pretty much, it's like the forcepike ratio theory. Scale to the troopers comfort aspect. A tall trooper would have a full size pike while a shorter trooper would have one scaled down.
