Jedi_Outcast's saber staff

Post by Jedi_Outcast77 »

I've got a base design that I'm working on and have some images to share. I used the Hyperspace image as a guide but need to find a better quality copy to do some fine tuning. I know that it is supposed to be all black but to make it easier to view I made it grey with some parts black to highlight their details. After some time and discussions have passed I will be working on a dimensioned drawing to help others with this weapon.

I haven't made any more progress as of late. Things should be slowing down at work so I'll have more time to put into this. I also spoke with a guy in my garrison that makes sabers and will be working with him to start machining the grips as soon as I can get a drawing to him.

Ohh, now I get it :D. I'm going to talk with Randy about making the grips and emitter sections. I may try doing resin pieces that would fit over PVC pipe, but both ideas are still way down the road.
