So apparently there is a weight in the butt of the cue stick. I need shorter wood screws to attach the handle.

I think I've figured out how to bronze up the Inca Gold with stuff I have on hand: with a light dusting of the wood toner I used on my Power-5 handles. At least it works in concept, we'll see how it looks after the latest coat dries on the tap. I'm hoping the two paints are chemically compatible.
