Yeah, I don't think anyone wants to see thatstripes wrote:All depends on the look you're going for.... you could always pair that with a corset and some lace gloves.... but of course that wouldn't exactly be to 501st standards

Re: Kanos Boots
Some costume websites carry these "pirate" or "renaisssance" boots...

Re: Kanos Boots
While those pirate/renaissance boots are interesting... the have a texture to the leather that wouldn't work for this costume.
Re: Kanos Boots
I looked at those pirate boots... none in red
and you dont want to try spray painting leather!
It gets even more complex when you have size 13 and very broad feet and are 6ft plus in height! Im thinking of pvc or rubber stocking and turning them into "slip overs" to feet over a red caboot style lower sole.
I thought of another option... perhaps cut the top trim off these...

and insert a spacer in the same red plastic material ... reattach the tops and BINGO over the knee boots with correct sole and height to lower thigh... a strip of material backed in velcro to cover the rear zip and SHAZZZAM!!!

Re: Kanos Boots
You can do knee high slip ups for the boots.

If you're going to do boot covers, these are pretty fine looking ones; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130412150959 ... 1423.l2649
FYI, I've kinda put this project on the backburner again, had some other things come up recently Although Crow62 and I were talking about doing thigh high boots as a one piece to get rid of the seam line the boot covers would have. Though once again, we never concluded discussions on that as other things have come up for me. Maybe one day I'll have a kanos
