I: A Crimson Empire Carnor Jax costume MUST have:


Helmet: Helmet must be of solid construction based upon design of the
Royal Guard characters with modifications to personify the “Sovereign Protectors”. The modification/addition is the vertical Mohawk that runs between the front and rear ridges of the normal royal guard helmet and can be seen in several panels of the CE/CE2 visual reference. Visor should have a red, non-reflective lens that allows maximum visibility but hides the wearer’s features. The center part of the helmet with the visor should come up
to a triangular point.

Bodysuit: Bodysuit must be constructed of red form fitting material
(ex: lycra/spandex) with black accents running vertical along the torso to the thigh.

Cloak/Cape: Cloak/Cape outer shell must be constructed of black
non-reflective, heavyweight material; inner lining must be constructed also of black,
lightly-reflective material. Cloak/Cape must hang no higher than the
individual wearer’s calves and no lower than the individual wearer’s
ankles. Cloak/Cape must have at least one opening to allow for movement
and ability to be worn draped over one shoulder. Cloak/Cape closure
method cannot be part the bodysuit or armor and must function separately.

Body Armor: Body armor must be gloss black in color and consist of the
following components:
- Shoulder Bells: Shoulder bells must be shaped to mimic the visual
reference and must have a “scalloped” layer beneath the first layer.

- Backplate: Backplate must be shaped to mimic the visual reference.

-Chest Plates: Chest plates must be shaped to mimic the visual reference
and must contain or show bi-lateral division of the individual plates.

-Abdominal Plates: Abdominal plates must be shaped to mimic the visual
reference and must contain or show sectional division between plates. A
minimum of 3 (three) abdominal plates is required but no more than 8
(eight).

All body armor components must be secured to the costumer’s bodysuit by
either 1) harness/strapping system, 2) Velcro/Snaps, and cannot hang free.

Vambraces/Gauntlets: Vambraces/Gauntlets must be shaped to mimic the
visual reference and gloss black in color. Must consist of a minimum of 4 (four), but not more than 8 (eight), raised ridges running vertically along the outer side of the vambrace/gauntlet.

Gun Belt: Gun belt must be black in color and consist of; holster, a minimum
of 2 (two) but not more than 3 (three) pouches and a buckle. The buckle
and pouch design must mimic the visual reference.
• A DH-17 heavy blaster pistol:The Crimson Empire comics depict the DH-17 as being their blaster. Either the MR edition or Hasbro Toy DH-17 (modified) is acceptable.

Boots: Boots must be black in color and come to a point at the opening at the top of the wearer’s thigh. Boots must reach a length higher than the wearer’s knees but must be lower than the wearer’s groin. They should have a relatively conservative heel, no visible straps/buckles, or ornamental stitching.

Gloves: Gloves must be red in color and match the visual reference. Gloves must cover the wearer’s hand. Gloves must have a minimum of 1 (one) accent; 1) horizontal ribbing across the back of the hand, or, 2) circular “knuckle pads” across the fist of the glove.

Force Glaive: Glaive should be no smaller than 1ft/30.48cm in length taller than the costumer from blade tip to blade tip, and mimic the visual reference with detail on the grip area and blade pommels.

II: A Crimson Empire Carnor Jax costume SHOULD have (but not required):


Cloak/Cape: Cloak/Cape outer shell should be constructed of black velvet; inner lining must be constructed of black cloth material.
