Gloves

Post by Cupcake42 »

Ok so I’m struggling with 2 gloves, either LM off amazon or IB gloves.

I like the pricing on the LM and I have a pair in black and like the fit, but I seems like it’s a crap shoot on if the LM can get approved.

So what’s everyone’s suggestion? Other than sewing the gloves and boots are all I have left to be completed.

I’m hoping to get approved by year end :tr:

Thanks

For me, you are better off going the known approved route and getting gloves from IB. These look far too close to "halloween costume" type gloves which from what I have seen in my time in the legion and detachment do not get passed

Yeah, I can't comment on the amazon gloves, but my kit has the IB gloves and I've never had a problem with them. Some of the stitching is starting to go near the thumb, but that's a relatively easy fix.

Thanks all!

That what I needed to know :)

I’ll go IB in their September run since I’ll need to recoup from DragonCon.

Thanks for your comments

Cupcake, do you know what are the diffference between the ROTJ and ROTS gloves version? I have a spare set from IB which their kit is supposed to be ROTJ. They made a mistake in my order, so I have a pair laying around doin' nothing.

RoTS gloves are leather, RoTJ gloves are not. Thus, RoTJ gloves are not approvable for RoTS versions.

Like stipes said the RotS gloves are leather and the RotJ gloves are suede or cloth.
