Would my TIE Pilot boots work for RotS Guard?

Eventually I would like to get the IB set but funds just are not there. I have the TIE boots already and they are great for long Troops.

The CRL says optional, so I figured I would ask as I’m going to start my WIP next month.

They will be fine with option of updating. Also what foot size are you looking at? There are alternative affordable options out there in red.

Sadly it depends on the boot. My TIE boots are a 12 and so are my Merc boots. But there are some shoes I wear a 13 depending on how they are cut.

I would prefer the IB ones but I also need to be cautious with my budget lol

Eventually I’ll get the red, unless there is a pair of red Chelsea boots that I just don’t know about.

I turned to the forums because I wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

Would a "Red" Chelsea Boot work? as this is leather and not suede. Does it matter?

I have been looking into this for a number of years now (especially living in the UK and Suede boots is like blood from a stone) I have finally found Red Chelsea Boots but have been hesitant, as I wear Jack Boots which are comfortable but I'm looking to smarten the ROTS up a bit.

The back of the chelsea boot should also be of same red material. As I would stir away from the black detailing on the boot.
