Build Thread: Double Trouble from Down Under

Post by RedWraith »

My brother Spudicus and I are nearly ready to apply for the 501st as ROTJ Royal Guards. We'd appreciate any feedback you can give us on our costumes to ensure that the application process goes smoothly. Thanks!

Hi OCD_Chad, thanks for your interest. The pikes are from a custom run by tomleech (The Proplicator). See https://www.forcepike.net/forum/viewtop ... f=8&t=3349. I spray painted the tips to protect the raw steel and give it the gold and silver appearance.

Very nice, would you mind if I save the pics as references for my costume? I'm doing an AOTC but the only thing that changes is the outer robe and boots, the rest is the same.

Hi Arminus, thanks very much. You're most welcome to use the pictures for your costume. I hope they are helpful. All the very best with your build.

One small criticism...that I noted straight up. Make sure you have your gloves tucked into the sleeves as per CRL when you submit.

Good luck
