Robes WIP
Hi gang,
Here are some pics of my robes in progress. I haven't hemmed the inner robes yet, and was thinking about shortening the sleeve length a bit. The outer robes are obviously made from muslin. No hemming here either, and the right shoulder is only pinned in place in these pics. I am planning on securing that side with a clasp which will disappear under the fabric.
What do you all think?

Re: Robes WIP
I would shorten the sleeves 0.5 to 1cm.
And the overall length of the inner and outer robe too.
Inner robe should be shorter then the outer.

Re: Robes WIP
Agreed. Also make sure there is a split on the inner robe so that you can walk

Re: Robes WIP
Thanks, guys. That's what I was thinking length-wise. I'm waiting on boots and gloves (both this week, hopefully), before I make the alterations. I did NOT think about a slit in the inner robe. Good call.
Here's the outer robe. I will do the lining next, which should settle down and close up the arm slit.

A couple more tweaks and I think I'm ready for application pics. See anything that needs fixing?

Re: Robes WIP
I agree.
Please try to make photos were your outer robe is all the same height from the ground around you.
Someone putting the robe in the right Position should help.
