Re: Sith Sovereign Protector: EP IX
Most of the costume has been modeled; however, there are no views of what's under the cape. Mainly the back of the characters. If we can get an official image that shows the hidden portions of the armor then we can move forward with them. I have a helmet as well and so want to build this kit but unt...

Re: 3d Printed Parts
I agree that sabers are rather expensive. Any of the decent sabersmiths will begin at around the $400 mark for a custom saber. My first pike was like yours. A PVC pipe with 3d printed handles and I installed a Nano Biscotte V3 with tri cree red red white and it has served me well for over 5 years no...

Re: Finally Upgrading
The fabric that you've chosen matches the crl requirements so you should be good. Since you've been trooping a while already I highly suggest that you think about the location where most of your activity has been in the past. Now for the why. Under different lighting situations the velvet will appea...

Re: Ep IX - Elite Imperial Guard Weapon
There is one in the works and it has been roughed out quite a bit. It's not accurate yet and the designer is waiting for more reference pictures. All that we're looking for to go ahead with the new Sith Eternal Sovereign Protectors is a high resolution picture of the armor that sits underneath the c...

Re: 3d Printed Parts
You're right that the PVC flexes quite a bit but I look at it as a bonus. When I started practicing with some of the local saber legion folks we found that these PVC pikes can really take a beating. One of the guys with a pike made from those 24" extensions bent them. But I'm not trying to down...

Re: Would this helmet be acceptable?
The collar/flange appears to be a little on the narrow side when it comes to the standard royal guards; however, it would make an excellent The Force Unleashed (shadow/royal/senate)/crimson empire helmet. I will agree that walt's helmet is very light and once finished looks really nice. Personally I...

Re: Irishknots WIP thread
The hem is a bit too long. Onlookers shouldn't be able to see the hem on your outer robes. Also brushing the robes may help with it not looking like crushed velvet. My outer is a nightmare if I don't brush it after storing it for a while.
