Re: Matching Reds for ROTS

Is this a common request? becuase i really dont want to repaint my bucket and velvet is expensive to dye. Depending...

Re: SL-13377 Dawn Brights Pratorian Guard Breakdown

Any luck finding some better matches on the fabrics after FIDM Dawn? Trying to build out with more details on the CRL in progress.

Re: Gathering Materials - What I Have So Far

I've not seen a 3d printed helmet used for this costume as yet... with the heat that is involved it may not be the most stable... especially with that many pieces.

You'll want to get samples/pictures of the fabric for review before purchasing.

Re: Force unleashed royal guard WIP

hi guys just a quick question really. I have seen that there are other TFU Royal guards already cleared within the 501st. How did they manage to get cleared without a complete CRL? My GML is still waiting on the lengthy process of peer review. Just wondering if you could shed any light on it for me...

The only other suggestion I could make is having your helmet better match the colour of your cloak

As per the CRL, the hem of the inner robe should be no more than 3" off the ground at all points around the inner robe when worn. Also as per the CRL, the hem of the outer cloak needs to be off the ground no more than 1" at all points when worn. It cannot be pooling or dragging on the gro...

Re: Question on boots and gloves

As per the CRL (http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TR_rots):

The boots for RoTS need to be crimson red, not burgundy... they also require a pointed toe, not a round toe.

Re: Draft808's Shadow WIP

The shoulder bells also don't look right in shape... are they TK or TB??

If they are TK they aren't in the right shape... they should be TB with the added ridge details as specified in the CRL

Re: Draft808's Shadow WIP

the tape lines on the front of the helmet are too narrow. You need to leave more of the shoulder flares in tact.
