Re: Irishknots WIP thread
Not 100% sure it matters for approval (I don't see anything specific in the CRL's), but I believe the zipper goes in the back. That's how I put mine on anyway... That's what I'm thinking too. If you need to get dressed by yourself you can put a strip of fabric/string on the zipper and attach the ot...

Re: Irishknots WIP thread
It may be fine as long as it's not seen. gonna have a big robe covering it anyways. True, but if you ever do the open "attack" pose, you might be able to see it... Or at least, might make the area flow/pucker weird due to the zipper... Either way, it would probably work, but I definitely ...

Re: Rubies Pike with 3D changes
if you even share the non finished STL files, i would be glad to print it Okay, this should be the final version. Hopefully it'll work for everyone! https://www.dropbox.com/s/xy024h1ml51zl7j/force%20pike%20tip-final.stl?dl=0 And here's my Pike about 90% done. Still a couple more tweaks to the paint...

Re: Rubies Pike with 3D changes
Thanks! :D I couldn't find a pike I liked (that was still for sale) and decided to try something different! Plus, it's super light! I can definitely post up the STL file once I get everything done! The sizing and tolerances are designed for my pike, so hopefully there isn't too much variances in eac...

Re: Rubies Pike with 3D changes
Okay, finally dialed it in! Here's the final version (adjusted some dimensions and now prints in 4 pieces). The whole pike breaks down into 3 parts. The top pieces are glued together and will just pop on top of the main shaft. The bottom handle piece screws onto the handle (and glued into place), wh...

Rubies Pike with 3D changes
So, I decided to try something. I bought the Rubies pike (and like all the people that bought it on Amazon, it came broken, but I was expecting that) and decided to modify it with some 3D printing... I cut the main pike off (so it's just a tube), sanded down the handle/pommel area (especially the Ru...

Re: Getting Screws out of Rubies Visor
I just did this and ended up having to cut/break the visor. :( All the screws came out fine except the top one, which I ended up stripping... I then cut the visor out around that one screw and was able to get the screw out with some needle nose pliers... So to answer you're question, no... LOL! But,...
