Thanks Erice
May I ask if you know anything about the inner robe. I haven't come across one from IB before.

Re: Royal Guard from The Force Unleashed
I inquired to be sure about the boots with the team and they are saying the boots look approvable. But your GML can advise you as they are approval officer.
I am double checking on visor. It's red on CRL so it seems likely black is not approved but will check with team.

Imperial Boots robes are approvable as others have been approved. The robe colour must match the bucket so it's advisable to get the robes first then the bucket can be painted to correct colour.

Oh by the way, you can now request access to sovereign protectors on the board. Also 501st access can be given on request. Just request this on the forum threads and you'll have access.

Re: Fabric colors
This certainly is helpful for Senate Guards. Might be worthwhile putting same images in a WIP thread as it's easier to locate. Look forward to seeing this completed.

Re: Right fabric for outer robe lining
Yes those in the Google drive gallery you linked to are the patterns to use. Ok. My advice is once you get the inner robe complete show some photos of progress. Then get centre sash done. The boots that are approved are the jack boots found on websites Imperial Boots or Soviet Boots for example. The...

Re: Robe patterns
This is worth bumping as the pattern shown here is same one I used and seamstress got her head around the basic structure of how robes fit together. Also needed to show her lots of photos of all angles. It's best to make a mock up first out of old sheets. Just to get a feel for the way the robes sit.

Re: Right twill for outer robe lining
Ok found the thread buried on page 3.
Here's the pattern I showed my seamstress.
She somehow made sense of it and we got there after some failed attempts.
It's worth a look as it reveals how the robes fit together.
