Re: RaiderNick's RG WIP
Also, these boots are shorter than I expected when getting the outer robe made(I was expecting to have the "other" boots) so it is too long. Is there a way to properly hem velvet without crushing and ruining it? I may even want to temporarily hem it just in case the other boots do ever sh...

Re: Suede Boots?
I am on the search for Suede Boots too...in Size EU46 / US 13 1/2 / UK 11 One Question again (sorry for use your post), are these okay for RotJ Guards: http://img6.sellersourcebook.com/users/117591/am341rojo.jpg They should be fine if you remove the straps and pull up the top, so it isn't scrunched...

Re: Glove length
Every image (e.g. screen shots or exhibit photos) that I have seen of the ROTJ Royal Guard had the inner robe cuffs go over the glove cuffs. In other words, the gloves are tucked in. http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx318/bdgr/Royal%20Guard/emperorgd2_zps54f09e42.jpg http://i767.photobucket.com/al...

Re: Outer Robe
No. There would only be 3 full length seams for a ROTJ robe, since the front of the right side piece would be sewn partially to the front piece from the shoulder down to the arm pit. Remember that the ROTJ robe has a "slit" opening on the right side with the front piece slightly overlappin...

Re: Outer Robe
Hey, I'm back again! Finished my Tusken recently and now that I have some sewing skills, would like to revisit the Guard. Can anyone tell me exactly how they sewed their outer robe? I can look up how to do the lining easily enough, but how do you make the robe itself? Also, I remember someone recom...

Re: Newbie looking for some help,
Agreed, based on your height I would recommend doing a Royal Guard over a TK. It is much easier to get soft parts (e.g. robes) to fit then hard armor.

Re: Red mirror tint
For the red mirror lenses, you might want to double check with your GML, since they are the ones who will make the final call. If the GML is following procedure and asking on the GML forum for peer review, the same answer as above will be given. I would also expect to see an update to the CRL over ...

Re: Geo's RotJ Force Pike Build
I was also going to suggest using a bronze color paint versus a gold one. It is what I think the color of the ROTJ Force Pike Rasp looks more like.Geohazard wrote: I was shooting for more bronze, not so shiny. No such luck.
