Re: Spoox's Royal guard building progress

because of how large the lip is inside the visor area it looks like a recast don post. The don post had a ton of extra material in the visor area that was slightly recessed where the super thin red plastic was glued on. I'm almost 100% certain that's a dp

bucket availale on the 501st boards

for anyone looking for a helmet there's a pretty rough resin cast of a don post helmet listed on the 501st boards. I was tempted to get it for myself (can never have too many guard helmets) but with being a dp cast I know it won't fit my head. The only reason the actual dp fits me is because i can f...

Re: possible new force pike base

Rustoleum metallic finish. It looks great when you put it on there...but during the summer months it felt like the stuff was never ever 100% dry. I can't tell you how many times I had to sand it down and repaint it since making it due to the paint starting to get soft and rubbing off. Or someone tou...

Re: possible new force pike base

yea the lack of taper is my only complaint about it. I don't want to steal the one that we are using for our boat, but I plan on picking one up and messing with it since the chrome paint on my pike is driving me up a wall. I figure with clever use of the grip and hiding the point meeting with the re...

Re: Compare/Contrast: Ski pole or Pool Cue

I'm following Skel's tutorial and found a pole close to what he got. I was in Walmart the other day and just happened to see 1 Shakespere Durango pole and picked it up for $7.95. Only difference is the one I found is a 13' and is 4 section instead of 10' and 3 section. Its light as can be, just nee...

Re: Compare/Contrast: Ski pole or Pool Cue

I use a fishing rod....its absurdly light, any time I let someone hold it, the look of shock on their face when they realize there is nothing to it cracks me up

Re: Outer Robe Pattern

main diff would be aotc has two slits down the front to allow for both arms to move while rotj just has one slit coming down from the armpit area on the right side

Re: Rubies helmet

Its a new one...the guys at the table had never even seen what a don post looked like so they were all excited to see mine when I told them what it was since they said a lot of people were mentioning it when they came by
