Re: Padded bags/cases for force pike and saber pike
Those are great suggestions! Thanks! The longest segment of the saber pike is actually only 32", just an inch or two longer than both the blade and the longest segment of the of the force pike.

Re: Padded bags/cases for force pike and saber pike
Thanks! I am familiar with Wally (he's in my garrison), and his bags are absolutely fantastic. I'm almost certainly going to commission him for something at some point (probably my helmet), but I guess I was looking for something a little less custom, and a little more budget for my pikes. I was hop...

Padded bags/cases for force pike and saber pike
I just got in both a force pike and a saber pike from Endor Armory, and I'd like to get some padded bags to protect their beautiful finishes. I can picture exactly the type of bag I want, but I can't think what it would be called, so I'm having a hard time searching for it. I guess I'm sort of envis...

Re: Force Pikes
Actually, scratch that. They just posted yesterday that they have two force pikes and a saber pike unclaimed as part of this run.

Re: Force Pikes
They're on hiatus right now! They wrapped up orders in early May for a run they're saying will be the last they do for the foreseeable future.Mika Viljanen wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 2:59 pmEndor Armory in Germany makes pikes many use and folks have been happy with them.

I was doing this before applying the film, but good to know!

Re: How thick should the visor material be?
I tried heating the material I already have, and sure enough I think it's going to work! The trouble is getting it smoothed out properly. It was no problem getting it to take the general shape of the area using quick dips in boiling water and immediately putting it in place, but it has developed lit...

How thick should the visor material be?
I originally bought .75mm clear APET and used a red mirror film on it. The trouble was, I applied the film to the flat plastic and then velcro'ed it inside the helmet, letting the tension and positioning of the flexible material maintain the visor's curve. Of course, that meant that the mirror film ...

Re: Shadowguard Armor and undersuit
No! It's a ripstop material, so it has that reinforced stitching to prevent tears. I'm not sure why it's so visible in that second picture. Must be a crazy flash, or something. In-person, it's completely imperceptible unless you're looking at the material from mere inches away. There's no colour dif...

Re: Shadowguard Armor and undersuit
After looking around for a good long while, I ended up buying the Engine Intake Suit Coveralls on this page: https://www.militarysupplyhouse.com/coverallsus1.htm They're made of high-quality ripstop material, and have no pockets that need removal. They're a little more expensive than the Red Kap sui...
