Re: Andy's Build Thread
just had a thought while working on my own parts, would the shoulder fin issue by chance be the base plate, not the fin itself? I noticed that the Galactic armory one is a flat curved piece, but the refs have a slight curve when viewed from the front. Could that be the issue on that front?

so, are we just assuming for now the colors are the same as tht TLJ-PG for now until proven wrong? My main concern is more of consistency, I wouldn't want to show up to an event and have two M-PG kits of different shades of red

OrarKad's Praetorian buid
Alright, probably should start this, this'll be my first official 501st costume, but I have been approved in the Mercs in my custom Mando, so hopefully this should do okay. Biggest hurdle is this will be the first ever screen accurate costume I make other than an attempt at a tusken a couple years a...

Re: Discussion: Hip Armour
I can see the leather being the material as well for the attachment, as for the corner details, thy seem to have a different sheen than the armor, which leads me to think it could be the same material as the attachment cords, used as detail by feeding through a set of holes on the hip plates. Hopefu...

The black bit under the upper plate almost looks like an adhesive, with maybe a flap of the skirt material attaching them together, as it looks a bit too out of place, so maybe some kind of Velcro holding the plates to the backing. Looking at the poster/Instagram pic of the three guards, they are at...

Re: Discussion: Hip Armour
Looking at pics, it looks almost like the lower tasset is a flattened Fett codpiece with the lower point cut/rounded off
Edit: pics and it looks as if both are trimmed Fett cods, the upper has a rectangle detail added

Re: Discussion: Helmet
A note that may need to be added, it looks like the black of the visor ends at the bottom of the nose, which is slightly shorter than the sides of the visor
