just had a thought while working on my own parts, would the shoulder fin issue by chance be the base plate, not the fin itself? I noticed that the Galactic armory one is a flat curved piece, but the refs have a slight curve when viewed from the front. Could that be the issue on that front?

Looking at pics, it looks almost like the lower tasset is a flattened Fett codpiece with the lower point cut/rounded off
