Re: Rubies Pike with 3D changes

Man this looks great!

Do you mind sharing your 3D printer files?

I too have a Rubies that I keep as a back-up and it is in need of dire repairs and would love to add your 3D printed Mods to it. Tip and the slide on tube!

Very ingenious designing! :tr:

Re: Fabric colors

Nice job! Thanks for the couple of pics. If you see this post more PLEASE! I am in the process of getting my materials together and have a seamstress lined up for my Senate Guard.

Any pitfalls to look out for in your build? I know it seems pretty straight forward.

Thanks and nice job! :tr:

Top middle fan blows over and down my visor to keep any fog from forming (plus the bottom is open a tad also), keeping my exhaled...

Re: Rubies Material?

Funny you ask this: If you have not already done so. I used testor model car paint, I will have to find the exact color in the next couple of days, but it left it looking ugly and I was for sure I ruined my helm  After 2 days of thinking on it, I decided to use the testor paint thinner on a sm...

Re: Getting Screws out of Rubies Visor

Hope you got it out! Mine came out back in the day with a small screwdriver and some light pressure (constant) the whole time. Screws were not in that deep. In fact, I re-used 2 screws up top with my new lens and it kept the bottom 'open' to allow some nice COOL refreshing airflow in and seriously h...
