Re: New Imperial Here!
Not 100% sure how long it took. It was like 2-3 years ago, but maybe a couple months?

Re: New Imperial Here!
My original pike was one of the plastic ones that I modified. My current one I got from Endor Armory:

Re: New Imperial Here!
Hopefully someone will come along that can help with a good glove recommendation , since I’m a RotJ guard. But I got all my soft goods through KeepTrooping.

Re: New Imperial Here!
Doesn't look like a Rubies. Makes me nervous that the materials are listed as: "Material :18 Gauge Steel & Leather". Not sure where the leather is, but if the bucket is made of steel, that would be one heavy-a$$ helmet! Rubies are fiberglass (which is heavy enough as it is). Most guard...

If you can't find an actual red tinted visor, you might be able to find/use a regular visor and get some mirrored red window tint. I did something similar with another mask I have and needed yellow eyes. I used some yellow/gold mirrored tint and it worked great!

Re: Finding a helmet is difficult
Another +1 for the Rubies, if you can find one. I also got mine off Amazon, but it's been a few years now. Just did a quick check and didn't see any currently, but doesn't mean they won't pop up from time to time. Maybe setup a search on Ebay? I also switched out the visor, added fans and some foam ...

Re: Just asking an opinion
I have pretty wide hands too, and they fit (i have their complete kit). They used to have XL and XXl gloves, you should ask them directly. They have new gloves now that are only 2 sizes (M & L/XL). I have the L/XL ones and they are pretty tight (and I normally wear large gloves), although they ...

Re: Rubies Supreme Weight issue fix?
None of them are symmetrical. That's how they were originally made (one of the "benefits" of being sculpted by hand. All the SW helmets from the OT have this issue). The nice thing about the foam is that it isn't super dense, so it "auto fills" the space and it ends up sitting ri...

Re: Rubies Supreme Weight issue fix?
I also have the Rubies Supreme and following some older posts when I was doing my research, I made a foam shoulder/back pad that works well. The back part is upholstery foam carved out and attached to some foam board that goes to the front. The sides are actually women's shoulder pads and covered th...
