Personally, I would stay away from a 3D printed helmet, unless it's in ABS or PETG. PLA will warp with heat, so even inside a Con center, those helmet are so hot, they will deteriorate. that's a lot of money. For fun, check how much a ROTJ kit from Keeptrooping would cost, and add the price of an helmet.
