Re: flopcardboard's Pike Build - WIP
And I'm back! Did the next phase of building over the past two days. Step Nine: I wasn't happy with some of the bubbles and gaps left by the heavy duty glue. Enter Milliput! http://imgur.com/QmqAexI Step Ten: Knead the two-part milliput together, and apply liberally to the joint of shaft and pommel....

Re: flopcardboard's Pike Build - WIP
I'm planning to use a dremel "raspify" it once I affix it and fill it with an epoxy.
But yes, as is, the coil is definitely prequel Guard.

Re: flopcardboard's Pike Build - WIP
Sorry for the lack of updates!
I was looking around for some 1.5" diameter Heat Shrink, but no place had any locally for me. The Internet has provided however, and I will be putting in some more work starting tomorrow and (fingers crossed) finishing up this weekend.
Stay tuned!

flopcardboard's Pike Build - WIP
Well, I'm officially in to it now, so I figured I'd make a Build Thread detailing my steps. All of the ideas within can be found in other threads here on the forums however, so shout outs to Sir Ken and silverBoyd for their threads which inspired mine. Material List - Currently Incomplete Pool Cue (...

Re: Acceptible Boots?
If you want the actual red boots, check out these ones. They are the ones I use, and work quite nice. I'd recommend gel insoles for comfort and suggest adding a size or two as they are narrow. I went up two sizes and they work nicely with gel insoles. The boots are knee-high, but I just took a pair...

Re: Acceptible Boots?
The stitching on the sides to me I feel is a deal breaker as that falls into ornamental stitching. Look more for a basic conservative hell boot with less flair. That was my concern as well. This one's stitching is less ornamental, but, IMO, would be more noticeable. http://www.jcpenney.com/florshei...

Acceptible Boots?
Shopping around, I stumbled upon these: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/rockport+toloni+boot?prodId=248065&productRef=CROSS: What do you think? Would these past muster for the CRL entry of, "Black, texture-less, leather/synthetic leather (non glossy) “Jack” boots", squared toe (rounded toe...

Modifying the Rubies Bucket
Hello! I just ordered a Rubies bucket and while I await it's arrival, I've been scouring the forum for tips on how to modify it for approval, but haven't had much success. Is there a thread or tutorial I can have linked, or some other way to see the mods needed? And if such a thread doesn't exist, I...
