Re: Shadow Guard CRL
OK I've been quoting what on the 501st Boards David it's probably best if you keep all your questions and getting this sorted in one thread rather than us developing multiple ones. I'm not a GML, I'm an armourer Is the TFU CRL finished yet or not? There's a thread that says it would be finalised 12/...

Re: Royal Guard from The Force Unleashed
I noticed that the topic for TFU guards says "now a cleared costume" but the links here to the CRL don't work still, and on the 501st site it still says they aren't clearable hence our GML not being able to clear. https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TR_tfu_royal This CRL is a wor...

Re: My ROTJ Royal Guard Build Thread
Not sure if its your size but does look a little on the large size. You might want to think of having some sort of under shoulder armour to give your shoulders some profile and so you don't look like a 'pencil' and being straight up and down. Lines are good and clean. Nice. Look forward to seeing it...

Re: Small detail, big question
My robes are held in place by two hvy duty press studs/ poppers in between the neck and shoulder. Give a nice loose drape and the classic 'V' at the front too.

Re: Royal Guard for 2013 - kaa1304 build
Hi Kevin, Forcepike is excellent. Those inners are OK in style but not material. Outers look good, and the lining. In terms of the fastening, they need to come up a bit and it will sit nicely under the lid and give you the nive V shape drape. Don't know if you an see what I've done to mine at the fa...

Re: Help with links to build stuff please!
Hi mate, Depends where you want to start. Some good tutorials on here for the pike. Lids- usually pop up on ebay rather than scratch built. Dont know of anyone supplying them at the moment other than in S. America. As for body armour, I'd go the ice hockey underarmour/shoulders rather than full TK b...

Re: Outer Robe UK
Let me know if you need anymore, I know of a great match for other guards in the UK that we all try to be spot on colour wise. In Derby but sadly no website.

Re: Master list of where to find boots...
I agree with the boots i.e. those are worng. I know black jack boots are OK on a temporary basis but if there are options out there then people should be using them not just using boots that they may have. What we didnt want in drafting the CRLs was to prevent people from doing a IRG due to an item ...

Re: Master list of where to find boots...
I saw that Craig. I will be doing research this weekend to find out options on this. Those will work but you run into the problem of the size ratio for the guards on the feet. I will be looking to see if we need to come up with like what BikerScout.net did with the the custom boots. I will have an ...
