Re: How does this outer robe pattern look
For my inner robe I used the pattern from the Easter costume. It's done except the hem. Just received my boots. I will hit Joanns fabrics tonight and compare your pattern to what I have. Is the outer robe suppose to bell out at the bottom or is it suppose to be more straight? And would a seam found ...

Re: How does this outer robe pattern look
The front panel is similar to the front of the under robe minus the sleeve cut outs. The back 2 panels are sort of pie shaped. The center line is straight and the outer line gets wider as it goes down toward the base. Think of a princess's robe with a straight panel sewed into the front. I will add ...

I put this together from 2 patterns that I combined and modified. I know it's not the right material or length but I want the pattern right before I make one in velvet. Please give me feedback on how to improve the design.
Thanks

Re: Don Post Helmet mods
Thanks for the information. I figured it could be heated and shaped but wanted to make sure. I will definitely glass the edge to give it some strength.
Thanks

Don Post Helmet mods
I just received a Don Post Helmet and I have some questions for the group. It seems to be made of a rubbery plastic material and the back edge is curled in. How do I get it back in shape. The color doesn't match my robes. Can it be painted and what type of paint do I use. Are their any other mods I ...

Re: Keltic Assassins Royal guard.
By the way does anyone have any experience with Distinctive Fabric. I saw the sample in another post of their red velveteen and went ahead and ordered my material for my robe from them. I've tried to contact them a couple of times and I've got an odd feeling that somthing isn't right. I'm sure the l...

Keltic Assassins Royal guard.
I'm starting my Royal Guard under robe this weekend. I just received my material from the online fabric store. Think I ordered a bit too much but that's ok since I am going to try to do the under robe my self. I have a seamstress who does costumes work for a theater that I want to do the robe. This ...
