Re: Pepakura helmet build
I noticed that too, the color I used is Krylon banner red gloss so it looks red in person but on my phone it definitely started to look more orange in the natural lighting. I will soon have the opportunity to do a photoshoot with a better camera, should I wait and see how those turn out or is there ...

Re: Pepakura helmet build
Opinions needed on the color. I took several pictures in different lighting (natural and artificial) with and without flash http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a515/HD-marathon/20160419_090905_zps7pwsz37o.jpg http://i1281.photobucket.com/albums/a515/HD-marathon/20160419_090927_zpssyceowqi.jpg http:/...

Re: Pepakura helmet build
So a mando merc had a don post he didn't want anymore so I have now (finally) acquired a don post helmet. The scratch build will still continue but will be put on the back burner as I try to finish the don post before the summer convention season. After the release of the rouge one trailer I am cons...

Re: Pepakura helmet build
Haven't posted in a while because while I have made progress this stage lacks the dynamic changes from one step to another. The second layer of bondo was added to start filling in the holes and low areas. From here I need to start smoothing the dome and then it comes down to sanding and applying mo...

Re: Pepakura helmet build
Well since the robes I already have are ROTS robes I will plan on moving forward with the current shape (smoothed of course) unless there are any objections to this.
Guess it would've helped to mention this was a ROTS from the start
