Re: Many Questions From a New Guy Regarding Making a Suit
I asked and he said he can't do wide boots, unfortunately. At least not for Jack boots. I measured my leg and at the widest I'm at about 20 inches around, so I'll probably end up getting these. http://www.amazon.com/Funtasma-Pleaser-Halloween-Captain-108-Black/dp/B001AH62KE/ref=sr_1_17?s=apparel&...

Re: Where to find boots?
I sent a message to the sellers asking if they have a return or replacement policy, just to be safe.
If my calves are too big I may just go with the other one. I figure if these will fit someone with the same size shoe as me then those probably will too.

Re: Where to find boots?
WW2 style Jack boots along with Captain Boots can be worn for AOTC. http://www.amazon.com/Funtasma-Pleaser-Mens-Halloween-Captain-100/dp/B001AH60TC I'll have to measure my calf to see if it'd fit. According to reviews people who normally wear wide shoes say it fits with room to spare. If my calf is...

Where to find boots?
This has become my biggest issue so far when planning my AOTC guard costume. I know where to get the gloves and where to get the materials to make my helmet, cloak, force pike, and robe/sash. But I can't, for the life of me, find where to find good boots that are my size. I wear size 10.5 wide, and ...

Re: Many Questions From a New Guy Regarding Making a Suit
^ Thank you. I've been informed that the black boots I was planning on buying has been discontinued. Does anyone know of any good suppliers? I require a 10.5 size wide boot. I cannot wear regular width boots, they need to be the wide/extra wide type. I don't care if they are cheaper made costume boo...

Would this be a good fabric to use in the cloak lining and robe/sash? https://www.fabric.com/buy/0269372/cotton-twill-burgundy?&cm_mmc=Google-_-Products-_-Products%20Listings-_-Ads&CAWELAID=172000510000017578&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=172000510000278050&cadevice=c&gclid=CPCRjqyf...

Re: Where to buy a forcepike
I'd prefer to buy one as well, but I haven't been able to find a good one. I'm planning on making my own, though. This how-to tutorial doesn't look too hard so if you can't find one it might be a good Plan B if you need a prequel pike. It'll take some time to get the materials but once you do it loo...

Re: TR boot/glove source found
I just ordered a pair from him last week. I confirmed with him before hand that there is no longer any design on the back of the gloves. They should be getting shipped soon, so I can probably post some detailed pictures when they get in. How do you order from him? I'll probably buy the gloves from ...

http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20071101141053/starwars/images/4/4f/RoyalGuard_EpII.jpg This would be one of the few pictures of the "RED GUARD" This is what confuses me. That image seems to indicate that the cloak is a front and back piece with the shoulders overlapping to create the ...

Re: Many Questions From a New Guy Regarding Making a Suit
Would a good cloak design be like: the front part would be a separate piece that is sewn into the back/shoulder piece starting at the shoulders up to where the neck halves meet. It seems like the most simple design choice.
