Great progress! Nothing wrong with having someone makes things for you. It's not always fun (or less expensive) to make it yourself. It will be great either way.

I was able to try everything on together. I still need to hem everything and I might change my inner robe to gabardine so the velvet lining slides easier. So shiny!!!!

I applied the paint and clear coat to my helmet!! I put my velvet against it to see how different they are. They look pretty good. Not quite exact, but so close.
